The surgical needles are available in regular, drilled, rolled, spring eye, and double spring eyes and with different type of points, such as taper point, blunt taper point, cutting edge, reverse cutting edge, taper cut, and micro-point spatula curved. These are hardened and tempered to a controlled hardness. The points are individually hand honed ensuring the highest standards of sharpness of the point. The surface finishing is done by mechanical and electro-polishing thereby minimizing micro-asperities and reducing tissue drag during suturing operations.
